These runes are made from natural Oak branches with the bark still on them. The magical properties of Oak are well placed in the cultures of Nordic, Wiccan, Druidic traditions. Each set of runes is cut from the same branch in order to assure continuity of being and each rune is woodburned with one of the 25 symbols of the Futhark including the blank rune. In order to insure their natural power is unaffected only natural stains were used to cure these wood runes.
