The elm branch used to make this authentic set of runes was naturally tempered by the elements of fire, water, earth, air and time. The magical properties of elm is well placed in the cultures of Nordic, Wiccan, Druidic traditions. Each rune is burnt with the symbols of the Futhark. There are 25 runes in total including the blank rune. No varnish or unnatural substances were used to cure the runes, only natural linseed oil. Each set of runes is cut from the same branch in order to assure continuity of being. Each rune is wood burned and NOT stamped.
